I ordered late night saturday around 10pm, 30 minutes before close. I have never gotten food here before and i have to say my first experience was great and it would be a place i'd recommend. Usually going to Chinese places at night, the food is all leftover and not so good, but this food was ALL FRESH! I was so pleased to see that. This was during covid so i was picking up and eat in was not an option, but it looked like a nice area and the staff was very kind. The prices were good as well.
While most Chinese restaurants have your standard menu, one thing that stands out at Evergreen is the Sushi. I was not a sushi eater before, but now it is standard with my order. The Dragonroll is delicious and is always being made when I go to pick up (good thing!). Fresh wasabi and pink ginger. I have not enjoyed it like i do from here. Staff is always friendly! You can tell its a family run business, the children are very friendly as well. My only negative is location and atmosphere. It is attached to a gas station, it would shine if you had a location with better parking and a nicer dine-in setting - but that could be a risk. Overall - highly recommended. But room for improvement and diversity.
Would give 4.5 stars I've had both take out and eat in here. My son was able to get sesame chicken, minus the sesame, no hassle. It was yummy, especially the pork fried rice with lots of meaty pork ! The sushi is VERY fresh. The rice so fresh, it's warm. Not a hint of fishy smell to fish. My son enjoyed the salmon here way more than Wegmans. The owners kids were there and were polite and not interruptive. The daughter about age 11 and son in teens. Place could use an update. I would recommend and I feel the prices are fair for fresh made food, especially sushi.
